KIRA
(Кіра)

Kira is a first year cadet in Chroma Corps, specializing in Zone Exploration and Research. As a member of the Zone Exploration Division, she has learned the basics of survival in the unpredictable landscape of the Zone. She generally keeps to herself, but according to her professors, her notes are some of the best in her division.

The Zone

Once a land traversed only by Stalkers -wanderers who enter the Zone illegally for their own purposes- the Zone is a mysterious space removed from the laws of physics and time. It is a volatile and dangerous place for wanderers, one false move and they may never be seen again. Most technology there is useless or non-functional inside the zone. Weapons are a death-sentence ("Who are you going to shoot at in there?"). The Zone appeared one day with no explanation, the worlds greatest minds still yet to give a solid reason for its existence. After many years of mystery, Chroma Corps has authorized a chapter near the perimiter of the Zone for research. Those brave members of the Zone Exploration Division are highly trained in the techniques once only known to the Stalkers who came before.
